Improvements
  • Power BI measure format now gets applied as grid format for measure
  • Implemented ad hoc Hierarchy filtering via a Right click context menu entry.
  • Backwards compatability patch for introduction of Schemaname field, has been removed. Schemaname will no longer be derived from tableName when formatted as Schemaname.tableName. Tablename syntax has not been changed.
  • Added PBI conditional formatting functionality to "Self-hosted API URL" field in Connection, allowing for a measure to be used.
  • Added PBI Drill down/up to visual
  • Implemented a Measure index for Custom calculation (Measure), Allowing for setting the measure index among other measures, the index placement is done in the same order as is shown in the Calculation Overview.
  • Improved the displayed date format in totals to reflect the same used for leafs
  • Comments saving was changed some time ago to save the full given history of comments from a cell together. This has now been reverted to the original way of saving one comment per cell.

🐛 Bug Fixes:
  • Date and datetime values
    are now handled consistently in UTC, preventing timezone-related discrepancies when saving data.
  • Fixed an issue where the
    identity column value
    was not correctly captured in the audit log after an insert or delete operation.
  • Fixed a bug where the

Locked Modules:
  • Rows can now be locked via a dedicated

Date Module:

    module type is now available in the module palette, allowing date values to be captured and written back alongside your comments.
Measure Autocomplete in Comments (

Improvements
Buttons:
  • Default button size has been reduced for a more
    compact and less intrusive
    UI.
  • The
    Submit
    and
    Approve
    buttons are now grouped as sub-actions of the
    Save button
    , appearing with a smooth animation when a Workflow is configured. This reduces visual clutter.
Settings Panel:
  • Settings checkboxes now display an
    info tooltip
    even when the setting is enabled, giving clearer guidance on what each option does.
  • Labels and checkboxes are better aligned for improved readability.
Comment History:
  • The lock/read-only state of a row now
    updates in real time
    as data changes, so you no longer need to re-select a row to see its current state.
  • Improved messaging: tooltips and notifications now clearly explain
    why
    an action is blocked (e.g. locked, submitted, or approved).

The new data row segment size is limited to a minimum of 100 rows, with upper limit being 30k rows or Power BI data engine limit, which ever is lower. This segment size can be set in PBI formatting panel under "Data Load" -> "Rows load size", Default is 1000

Multiple comment measures
AccoPLANNING now supports multiple comment measures, along with new configuration options for assigning them to specific measures.
The following changes has been made to accomedate this:
1) Removed measure limit from comment measure well.
2) Implemented configuration tab in Comment formatting settings with the following options,
- "Comment to configure" the selected comment to apply bellow options for.
- "Measure to display on" the measure to assign the above selection to.
- "Type" What type of measure the above selection should be treated as.
Type definitions:
(Writeback): Writeback target for comments, is not shown in grid.
(Comment): Comments are display and saved on if no writeback measure.
(Metadata): Metadata is shown as context information on comments.
New comment Writeback priority order for comments:
(1: specific + writeback)
(2: specific + comment)
(3: allMeasures + writeback)
(4: allMeasures + comment)`
3) Defaults are set to continue support for old single comment measure solutions
(by default all measures are assigned to "All Measures", and last measure in well is considered type "Comment" with rest as "Metadata")
